Focus and Scope

Mining and Earth Resources Journal (MINER-J) is open access journal and wellcomes article submission dealing with mining and earth resources engineering including economic geology, mineral and  coal exploration, geomechanics, mine environment, economic minerals, mineral processing, and extractive metallurgy. 

Publication Prequency

Mining and Earth Resources Journal (MINER-J) publishes twice a year in May and November.

Publication Fees

There is no article submisison and article publication fee for authors

Peer Review Process

The editorial team carefully reads each manuscript that is submitted before submission. The work is evaluated mostly based on its general interest or scope (if it is appropriate for the journal), its writing style (whether the author followed the instructions supplied), and its ability to pass a plagiarism check. Only manuscripts that satisfy editorial standards are submitted for official peer review. The editors swiftly reject submissions they deem to be of insufficient quality without seeking external evaluation.

Manuscripts that are deemed appropriate for additional assessment are normally sent to two reviewers. The editors then decide based on the recommendations of the reviewers:

• Accept, with or without small revisions
• Accept with the suggested major revisions,
• Reject, or the authors suggested further addiitonal works for resubmisison
