ABSTRACT
Introduction: Cervical cancer is cancer occurring in the cervix uteri, which is mostly caused by an infection by human papillomavirus (HPV). Women diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer suffer emotional stress that can lead to depression. This condition causes decreasing quality of life, decreasing level of serotonin, and an increase in depression score. Giving reality therapy to patients is expected to have positive effects. Methods: The research was con- ducted through an experiment with pre-test and post-test design. The research samples were
15 subjects taken through consecutive sampling from the Polyclinic of Obstetrics and Gynecol- ogy of Dr. Moewardi Hospital Surakarta starting in March 2015. The analysis of serotonin level was conducted in Prodia Laboratory. The experimental data was analyzed using a t-test (α =
0.05). Results: The average level of serotonin of the research subjects after receiving reality therapy was higher (223.59 + 41.20) compared to that before the therapy (82.77 + 27.02). From the t-test analysis with p = 0.00, it was found that the average depression score after receiving reality therapy is lower (11:40 + 4.80) compared that before the therapy (17:33 +
5:52). Conclusion: There was a significant increase in the serotonin level and a significant decrease in the depression score as the effect of reality therapy given to patients with ad- vanced cervical cancer.

ABSTRACT
Introduction: To observe the number and presentation of retinal redetachment after primary reattachment treatment in a national eye center. Methods: This study was designed for ob- servational-descriptive of the medical record from April 2011 to March 2012. Selected cases were identified on the secondary retinal surgery for retinal reattachment followed the failure of the primary treatment. Cases were then classified into 4 groups based on the primary reattach- ment procedure: pneumatic retinopexy (PR), scleral buckle (SB), pars plana vitrectomy (PPV), and combined SB with PPV. Furthermore, in the group of PPV and SB+PPV were then divided into 3 subgroups based on the intraocular tamponade: SF6 gas, silicone oil, and heavy silicone oil. Results: At one-year followed-up data, the presentation retinal redetachment was 7.1%, relative to the sex female (26%) was less than male (74%) with the most common age group was 41-50 years-old. Regarding with primary reattachment treatment, cases of retinal redetachment after pneumatic retinopexy was 6%, the scleral buckle was 16%, pars plana vitrectomy was 29%, and combined sclera buckle with pars plana vitrectomy was 48%. Con- clusions: Rates of retinal redetachment after primary reattachment treatment varied from 6% to 48%, that were performed by combined scleral buckling and pars plana vitrectomy with or without tamponade silicone oil.

ABSTRACT
Introduction: The role of Total Antioxidant Capacity (TAC) is the cumulative effect of all the antioxidants found in the blood and body fluids. Objective: to know the total antioxidant status in patients with HIV and CD4 stage I and stage IV. Methods: Thirty-four patients with HIV who are divided into two groups, one was HIV patients with stage I and group 2 was HIV patients with stage IV. Checking of total antioxidant status and CD4 in both groups. Results: There was no significant difference in total antioxidant status in HIV oenderita stage I and stage IV. There are significant differences in the levels of CD4 HIV patients with stage I and stage IV. There is a relationship between total antioxidant status and CD4 in patients with HIV. Conclusion: the higher the CD4 count, the higher the total antioxidant capacity in patients with HIV.

ABSTRACT
Introduction : Diarrheal diseases are a serious issue on health in developing countries and the liquid cause’s morbidity and mortality in children that cause the diarrhea pathogenic bacte- ria including Escherichia coli. This research aims to detect E. coli in stool diarrhea patient of the child with culture method and Polymerase Chain Reaction. Methods : This research is descriptive research design with cross-sectional approach. The sampling was collected from some public health centers namely Pampang, Barabarayya, Antang Perumnas, Tamangapa public health centers. Specimen testing process was conducted at Microbiology laboratory of the Teaching Hospital University of Hasanuddin to identify E. coli bacterium with the culture and to detect eae gene and bfp with PCR technique. Results : The results indicate that from
50 samples, there are 15 samples (30%) of samples positively detection E. coli using culture method and PCR test using eae and bfp primer found 20 (40%) and 1 sample (2%) positive enteropathogen E. coli. Conclusion : PCR methods indicated the result of E. coli bacteria results faster and more accurate that other culture methods.

ABSTRACT
Introduction : Brucellosis is one of twenty-two types of Strategic Animal Diseases (PHMS) that are zoonotic, (i.e., spreadable from animals to humans according to the Decree of The Minister of Agriculture no. 4026 / Kpts. / OT.140 / 3/2013). This study aims to investigate brucellosis transmission on the cattle farmers in Pinrang. Serological diagnosis suggests the possibility of brucellosis-infected cattle farmers in Pinrang based on Rose Bengal Test (RBT) and Complement Fixation Test (CFT). Methods : This research was conducted by taking blood serum from 42 cattle farmers, which then analyzed using the Rose Bengal Test (RBT) and Complement Fixation Test (CFT). Results : Rose Bengal Test (RBT) and Complement Fixation Test (CFT) results showed brucellosis positive on 2 cattle farmer’s samples of Lembang and Dumpanua subdistrict in Pinrang disctrict with age 47 and 53 years old. Conclusion : There were brucellosis cases on cattle farmers in Pinrang district.
